Without hesitation, I feel most myself with dirt under my fingernails and paint on my sleeves. As my parents might tell you, I was a curious and tactile child (spaghetti on the ceiling, fireplace ashes on best clothes) - always looking for the next project to start and the next mess to make. Painting, sewing, baking, knitting, gardening and finally, farming. The ultimate mess. In the summer of 2019, between college and graduate school, I wandered onto Tea Lane Farm in Chilmark and thoroughly ruined any hope of a professional degree. I was hooked- the entire process stunned me and scratched every itch my body and brain ever had. It is my greatest privilege to share what I love with you all.

The shop brings specialty plants and locally and sustainably grown flowers to Lincoln and her neighbors in arrangements that celebrate each season’s beauty. My goal is to locally source as much of the flowers in the shop and at your event from New England flowers farms, and only make trips to the Boston Flower Market in a pinch. I grow what I can, and rely on our regions wonderful farming community for the rest.

I hope that you’ll visit me downstairs at the Old Town Hall Exchange. As for my next, next project, upholstery has been catching my eye…
